BUST Through The Plateau!

Can you say FRUSTRATING? After your initial weight loss, your progress slows down and may even seem to eventually stop, even though your exercise and food intake is consistent. Out of the Comfort Zone

Go beyond what makes you comfortable. Open yourself to ideas, events, relationships that make you uncomfortable. Travel places where you know no one. Learn another language. Create art, even though you’re not an artist. Argue with people. Fall down. Get up. Read books, all sorts of books.

Boost Your Metabolism All Day Long

Insanity - Week 1

February 4 was the start date for O`ahu's Thinner Winner, sponsored by Tsunami Fit Club in Hawaii. I signed up with 3 friends from work, and along with 8 other teams, we are working our butts off for 30 days, in hopes of taking home the GRAND PRIZE of $1000!

I'm using Insanity for my program of choice, coordinating my "Day 1" with the Feb. 4 start date, which makes it easy to remember. So far, Day 1 was the Fit Test, which was "BEAST", as my son would say. I took my before pics, jotted down my measurements and fit test results, and away we go!

Here is the schedule for Week One:

Day 1: Fit Test
Day 2: Plyometric Cardio Circuit
Day 3: Cardio Power and Resistance
Day 4: Cardio Recovery
Day 5: Pure Cardio (on tap for tomorrow morning)
Day 6: Plyometric Cardio Circuit
Day 7: REST DAY (AHHHHH!!)

Notice a common theme here?  It's a carnival of CARDIO!!! And then some...
